Would the project have a substantial adverse effect on any riparian habitat <br />or other sensitive natural community identified in local regional plans, <br />policies and regulations or by the California Department of Fish and Game <br />or US Fish and Wildlife Service? <br />3. Would the project have a substantially adverse effect on federally <br />protected wetlands as defined by Section 404 of the Clean Water Act <br />through direct removal, filling hydrological interruption, or other means? <br />4. Would the project interfere substantially with the movement of any native <br />resident or migratory fish or wildlife species or with established native <br />resident or migratory wildlife corridors, or impede the use of native wildlife <br />nursery sites? <br />5.. Would the project be in conflict with the provisions of an adopted Habitat <br />Conservation Plan, Natural Community Conservation Plan, or other <br />approved local, regional, or state habitat conservation plan? <br />5.3.4 Environmental Consequences <br />IMPACT BtCI-1: Would the project have a substantial adverse impact, either <br />directly or through habitat modifications, on any species identified as a <br />candidate, sensitive or special status species in local or regional plans, <br />policies or regulations or by the California Department of Fish and Game or <br />U.S. Fish and wildl',ife Services? <br />Alternative 1: No Federal Action /No Project <br />As shown on Table 17 and Table 18 there would be low potential for special <br />status plant and special status wildlife species to occur at Centennial Park or at <br />the Heritage Museum. Under Alternative 1, the project would not be <br />implemented. The project area would continue to have low potential for special <br />status plant and wildlife species to be present. <br />Alternative : Proposed Project <br />As shown on Table 17 and Table 18 there would be low potential for special <br />status plant and special status wildlife species to occur at Centennial Park or at <br />the Heritage Museum site. Additionally, field surveys conducted by OCWD did <br />not identify the presence of or indications of any special status plant species or <br />special status wildlife species at either site.
