GENERAL FUND <br />PLANNING & BUILDING AGENCYPROGRAM <br />Planning Division01116510 <br />Statement of Purpose <br />To provide a publicly-accessible framework and process that guides development, both now and in the future, contributes <br />to the economic vitality, quality of life and daily needs of all the citizens of the City. <br />The Planning Division works to implement the land use policiesestablished by the City Council. These policies are <br />contained within the General Plan, which inturn is implemented by the City's Zoning Ordinance and Citywide Design <br />Guidelines. The Planning Division provides a full array of development processing and long-range planning services <br />which further the implementation of the City Council's policies.
