PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />1. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2016-18 <br />(Applicant: David Gregory, Certified Transportation - 628 East Washington Avenue) <br />Legal notice published in the Orange County Reporter on June 3, 2016 and notices <br />mailed June 2, 2016. <br />Commissioner Alderete arrived at 6:11 p.m. <br />A project overview was provided by Hally Soboleske, Senior Planner. Chairman <br />Gartner opened the public hearing. Joe Andrade spoke in opposition of the project <br />and provided Commissioners with a copy of the Logan Neighborhood challenges. <br />Sam Romero, Michael Andrade and Cecelia Rodriguez spoke in opposition of the <br />project citing the impacts the buses have on the residents. Comments addressed <br />operations at the Washington Avenue site as well as a second site operated by the <br />business on Custer Street. David Gregory, applicant, and Pamela Sapetto, <br />representing applicant, answered questions and spoke in support of the project. <br />Discussion ensued on hours of operation and maintenance of buses. Chairman <br />Gartner opened the public hearing. Ms. Aguilar noted she received a call from the <br />owner of the Orleans Square Office building in opposition of the project. Juvenito <br />Gonzalez, applicant, was available for questions.
