Chairman Gartner reopened the Public Hearing. Cecelia Rodriguez expressed <br />concern on the light maintenance of buses and hours of operation on the Custer site, <br />Ana Andrade expressed concern on the amount of items on the light maintenance <br />list, and Joe Andrade expressed concern of noise. Chairman Gartner closed the <br />Public Hearing. <br />AMENDED MOTION: <br />1. Adopt a resolution approving Conditional Use Permit No. 2016-18 as <br />conditioned. <br />2. Prepare an Operational Plan for Certified Transportation properties at <br />Washington Street and Custer Street that will include the following: hours <br />of light maintenance shall be from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through <br />Saturday. Light maintenance shall consist of bus servicing and minor <br />repair of buses, including replacement of belts, hoses, batteries, tires, <br />shock absorbers, oil and air filters, chassis lubrication, air conditioning <br />servicing, replacement of brake pads, seat repairs, wiper blade repairs, <br />window/glass repairs, electrical repairs and washing. <br />3. Per the M-1 Light Industrial Zoning District operational standards, in the <br />City of Santa Ana Municipal Code (SAMC), any activity permitted in this <br />district shall be conducted in such a manner as to not have a detrimental <br />effect on permitted adjacent uses by reason of refuse matter, noise, light, <br />vibration or lack of proper maintenance of grounds or buildings for both <br />properties. <br />MOTION: Gartner SECOND: Bacerra <br />VOTE: AYES: <br />Alderete, Bacerra, Bauer, Gartner, McLoughlin (5) <br />NOES: <br />None (0) <br />ABSTAIN: <br />None (0) <br />ABSENT: <br />Verino (1) <br />ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS <br />5. Elect a Representative from the Planning Commission to the Historic <br />Resources Commission for the 2016/2017 term. <br />Chairman Gartner called for nominations for Chairperson.
