3. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2016-24 <br />(Applicant Darryl Kwok, Clever Leaf — 3751 South Harbor Boulevard, Unit F) <br />Legal notice published in the Orange County Reporter on June 29, 2016 and notices <br />mailed June 29, 2016. <br />A project overview was provided by Pamela Guerra, Planning Technician. Chairman <br />Gartner opened the public hearing. Linda Lou Kestin spoke in opposition to the sale <br />of alcoholic beverages. Paul Roberts, representing applicant, and Darryl Kwok, <br />applicant, answered questions and spoke in support of the project. There were no <br />other speakers and the hearing was closed. <br />MOTION: <br />Adopt a resolution approving Conditional Use Permit No. 2016-24. <br />MOTION: Bacerra SECOND: McLoughlin <br />VOTE: AYES: Alderete, Bacerra, Bauer, Gartner, McLoughlin (5) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSTAIN: None (0) <br />ABSENT: Verino (1) <br />4.
