Also address integrity) <br />The Dr. Geddes House is an example of the Ranch style of architecture. It was built In 1969 for Dr. David Kofold Geddes and his <br />Wife, Mabel. Dr. Geddes was born to Dr, and Mr. Geddes, His mother was originally from Guadalajara, Mexico and came to the <br />United States where she attended the University of California, Berkeley. She lived with Professor Charles Kofold and his wife while <br />she was In school. She married William DeWar Geddes in December of 1916. David Geddes was bom in December of 1920, and <br />later his brothers John and Francis. David attended the Maryland University School of Medicine and became a psychiatrist, He lived <br />at this home with his wife Carol for over 60 years. He was the head of various medical associations, Head of the Psychiatry <br />Department of St. Joseph's Hospital, and was the Orange County Medical Association's Physician of the Year in 1993. After retiring, <br />he and Carol moved to Costa Mesa. Dr, Geddes passed away at age 94 in 2014. <br />(See Continuation Sheet 3 of 3.) <br />B11.
