AWARD CONTRACT TO CALIFORNIA PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING, INC., <br />FOR GRANT-FUNDED SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL ENHANCEMENTS AT <br />WASHINGTON ELEMENTARY (PROJECT NO. 166872) {STRATEGIC PLAN NOS. <br />– Public Works Agency <br />6, 1B & 1G} <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTIONS: <br /> <br /> <br />1.Award a contract and authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to <br />execute a construction contract to California Professional Engineering, Inc., the <br />lowest responsible bidder, in accordance with the base bid in the amount of <br />$457,711.75, for the term beginning upon execution of the contract and ending <br />upon project completion, for the Safe Routes to School Enhancements for <br />Washington Elementary project, subject to non-substantive changes approved <br />by the City Manager and the City Attorney. <br /> <br /> <br />2.Approve the Project Cost Analysis for a total estimated construction delivery cost <br />of $572,141, which includes the contract bid amount, administration, inspection <br />and testing, and an authorized contingency of $45,772. <br /> <br /> <br />AGREEMENTS <br /> <br />25A. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICE MANAGEMENT {STRATEGIC PLAN <br />NO. 7, 2D} {SURPLUS ALLOCATION FUNDING} - Information Technology <br />Department <br /> <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTIONS: <br /> <br /> <br />1.AGMT - Authorize the City Manager and the Clerk of the Council to approve <br />and execute agreement with Cherwell Software for an Information Technology <br />Service Management System for a two-year period, beginning December 1, 2016 <br />through November 30, 2018 in the amount of $61,850, subject to non-substantive <br />changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney. <br /> <br /> <br />2.AGMT - Authorize the City Manager and the Clerk of the Council to approve <br />and execute agreement with Migration Technologies (MiTech) for <br />implementation professional services of the Cherwell system for a one-year <br />period, Beginning December 1, 2016 through November 30, 2017 in an amount <br />not-to-exceed $150,000, subject to non-substantive changes approved by the City <br />Manager and City Attorney. <br /> <br /> <br />25B.
