Debits notAffectedIrkACHDebitBlock1 )- ansaction <br />Review <br />In accordance with customary practices, as well as applicable law and rules, the <br />following types of ACH - related debits will not be blocked: <br />• ACH debits to the City's account to offset ACH credit entries originated by <br />the City through J.P. Morgan <br />• Reversals of previously received ACH credits <br />• Reclamation entries, as defined in the NACHA operating rules <br />• Debits to the City's account initiated by J.P. Morgan to correct processing <br />errors, effect back - valuations or make other adjustments <br />• Returns or reversals of ACH debits originated by the City <br />• Fees or charges owed for services provide by J.P. Morgan <br />S. Under what circumstances will the Bank be liable for missing deposits? What <br />procedure, if any, does the Bank have for resolving disputes over deposits? <br />The City's client service professional (CSP), Marilyn Hardney, will continue to be <br />your point of contact for all your research requests. Marilyn will work with the <br />appropriate operational colleagues to make sure your request and /or adjustment <br />is handled in a timely and accurate manner. In addition, Marilyn has the <br />authority to escalate whenever necessary to make sure that issues are resolved. <br />6. What protection does the Bank afford that all City issued checks will be <br />honored? <br />Should a payment take your account balances over the intraday limit, the transfer <br />will be stored electronically and referred to your funds control officer in the <br />Transaction Approval Group (TAG) for approval. If covering funds are received <br />while the payment is stored, the transfer will be automatically released without <br />manual intervention. <br />S. Miscellaneous Questions <br />1. Will the Bank assign a designated representative to the City's account for <br />inquiries, day -to -day communications and problem resolution? If no, how will <br />these items be handled? <br />Yes, Marilyn Hardney will continue to serve as the City's dedicated client service <br />professional (CSP) for account inquiries, day -to -day communications and <br />problem resolution. In addition, you may also reach out to the other members of <br />the City's relationship team. <br />gE <br />
