term "garbage, " and shall include tree and shrubbery
<br /> trimmings, lawn renovatings, grass , weeds, leaves ,
<br /> chips, paper, pasteboard, magazines, books, rags,
<br /> rubber, carpets, clothing, boots , shoes , hats,
<br /> furniture, bedding, bottles , cans, metals , mineral
<br /> matter, glass, crockery, dirt, dust, packing boxes
<br /> and cartons, crates, packing material and all
<br /> other kinds of rubbish, trash or waste material
<br /> which ordinarily accumulates in the operation of a
<br /> household or a business.
<br /> L. Refuse means garbage and solid waste, as
<br /> such terms are defined herein. However, the term
<br /> "refuse, " for purposes of this contract, shall not
<br /> be deemed to refer to or include dead animals,
<br /> manure, sewage waste or waste water, explosive
<br /> substances, radioactive materials, materials which
<br /> have been exposed to highly infectious or con-
<br /> tagious diseases, or other highly dangerous materials.
<br /> M. Service unit shall mean each of the
<br /> following which receives standard service: Each
<br /> single-family dwelling, each dwelling unit within
<br /> a duplex, triplex or multifamily residential
<br /> building, each apartment or condominium unit
<br /> within an apartment or condominium building, and
<br /> each business, professional, industrial or other
<br /> non-residential use unit.
<br /> N. Transfer Station shall mean any point or
<br /> facility specifically designed for the transfer of
<br /> refuse from one vehicle carrier to another vehicle
<br /> or carrier.
<br /> 0. Disposal Site shall mean any dump site,
<br /> transfer station or other place specifically
<br /> designed for the receipt and disposition of refuse
<br /> collected by Contractor pursuant to this contract.
