opinion of the Executive Director, that adequate standards of <br /> collection will be maintained. It is the declared interest of <br /> the CITY that the CONTRACTOR be able to provide a variety of <br /> sizes of bin containers to meet the capacity requirements of <br /> commercial and multiple-family residential users . No material <br /> shall be permitted to leak, fall or be spilled on City streets, <br /> alleys or highways. Any such leakage or spills occurring shall <br /> be immediately corrected and the area cleaned. The equipment <br /> used must be maintained in good mechanical condition and must <br /> employ adequate safety conditions for the operating personnel. <br /> All collections shall be made as quietly as possible <br /> and no unnecessarily noisy trucks or equipment shall be used. <br /> Employees of the CONTRACTOR who are unnecessarily noisy or who <br /> violate the provisions of the State Motor Vehicle Code and/or <br /> any applicable CITY ordinance in the collection of said <br /> materials shall be dismissed. <br /> 15 . Containers : <br /> Containers used in bin service shall be of a design <br /> and size to contain , at all times, the contents therein in such <br /> a manner as to promote best possible housekeeping conditions . <br /> Bin service containers supplied by the CONTRACTOR shall , at all <br /> times, be maintained by it in a well-kept appearance and shall <br /> be marked with reflectorized material where such bins are or <br /> may reasonably be expected to be located in the public right- <br /> of-way. Users shall be responsible for the cleanliness, sanita- <br /> tion and deodorizing of such containers; provided, however, <br /> 15 . <br />
