The amount of adjustment shall be the differ- <br /> ence between the total income from that service under <br /> Santa Ana rates and the total income from the same <br /> service under other cities ' rates. <br /> d. The adjustment shall then be divided by the <br /> total residential service units in Santa Ana and applied <br /> to the appropriate city ' s prevailing rate. <br /> 4 . The contractor should have the schedules used to <br /> calculate the Residential Average Rate available for review by <br /> the city ' s auditor by July 25 of the corresponding year. The <br /> Executive Director will provide contractor with written approval <br /> of the rates within twenty-five ( 25 ) days after the schedules are <br /> available for review by the city ' s auditor. <br /> PROCEDURE <br /> 1 . Determine the prevailing rates of each of the <br /> cities and record on a schedule. <br /> 2 . Determine which of the cities require an adjustment <br /> for apartment service and determine the method and rates for pay- <br /> ment in those cities . Summarize that information on a second <br /> schedule. <br /> 3 . Determine the actual apartment service provided in <br /> Santa Ana and record on a third schedule. <br /> 4 . Calculate the revenue amounts using the rates from <br /> the second schedule and the service from the third schedule. <br /> Record the revenue amounts as shown on the third schedule . <br /> 36 . <br />
