EXHIBIT "E" <br /> ADJUSTMENT FOR APARTMENT REVENUE <br /> PROCEDURE <br /> 1 . Develop a single basis to which each contractor ' s <br /> apartment rates can be applied. Use the actual service being <br /> provided in Santa Ana for this base, a summary of actual Santa Ana <br /> apartment service is included in the procedure for determination of <br /> average rate per cubic yard of service. <br /> 2 . Develop the service and rate schedules for each <br /> contractor by contacting each city and verifying the information <br /> with the contractor. Actual schedules offered take precedence <br /> over contracted schedules. <br /> A. Contractors whose services include only resi- <br /> dential and apartments shall be excluded from this calculation <br /> and used in determining an adjustment to residential rates. <br /> B . Record or explain the appropriate apartment <br /> rates on a separate schedule. <br /> 3 . Calculate the total cost to Santa Ana apartments <br /> if their service was provided under the service and rate schedules. <br /> A. When required, the procedure for determination <br /> of average rate per cubic yard of service to determine contractor' s <br /> service minimums . <br /> 4 . Determine the necessary adjustment to the average <br /> rate per cubic yard of commercial bin service. <br /> 42 . <br />
