C.&1 Curbside Service <br /> Customers <br /> Curbside Service shall mean solid waste collection from: <br /> • Each single family residential dwelling unit; <br /> • Each duplex dwelling unit; <br /> • Multi-family dwelling units that do not require bin service; and, <br /> • Commercial or professional curbside users which do not require bin service as <br /> determined by the City. <br /> Container Handling <br /> The containers receiving Curbside Service shall be replaced where found. <br /> Containers and lids thereof shall not be left in the street or on neighboring or <br /> adjoining premises. Trash containers shall not be thrown from the truck to the <br /> pavement or in any way damaged by unnecessary rough handling. <br /> C.3.2 Bin Service <br /> Bin Service shall mean solid waste collection service from containers of one, two, <br /> three, and four cubic yards, including the use of compactors with such bins. The <br /> Contractor will be responsible for determining the number of multi-family <br /> residential and commercial/industrial Bin Service customers and required service <br /> levels, and will be required to report this information to the City. <br /> Residential Bin Service <br /> Residential Bin Service shall mean all solid waste collected from multi-family <br /> residential buildings with three or more dwelling units receiving bin service, <br /> except that the City may waive such requirement for any residential building <br /> existing on January 1, 1972 upon a determination that no lawfully usable space is <br /> available for such container within the boundary lines of the subject property. <br /> Commercial/Industria1 Bin Service <br /> Commercial/Industrial Bin Service shall mean solid waste collection from <br /> commercial and industrial customers using bins, and public agencies other than <br /> the City of Santa Ana. <br /> C.3.3 Roll-off Service <br /> Roll-off Service shall mean solid waste collection from transportable containers of <br /> 10-cubic yards or larger which are dropped off at a residence, commercial or <br /> industrial establishment and later removed for collection of contents of said <br /> container. Roll-off Service includes compactors which may be used with roll-off <br /> containers. <br /> Page 8 <br />
