SECTION E <br /> REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL PROCESS <br /> El TINE SCHEDULE <br /> The anticipated schedule for the procurement process is as follows: <br /> Activity rig <br /> 1) Issue Request for Proposals January 15, 1993 <br /> 2) Written questions due January 21, 1993 <br /> 3) Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference January 22, 1993 <br /> 4) City sends written responses to questions January 29, 1993 <br /> 5) Technical and Cost Proposals due March 8, 1993 <br /> 6) City conducts interviews (optional) March 15 - March 19, 1993 <br /> 7) City completes evaluation March 19, 1993 <br /> 8) City may solicit additional information. March 23, 1993 <br /> 9) Forwards recommendation to City Council April 5, 1993 <br /> 10) Start of service July 1, 1993 <br /> ES RFP QUESTIONS <br /> Except at the Pre-Proposal Conference, questions relating to the RFP shall be <br /> directed in writing to Teri Cable, Administrative Services Manager or her <br /> designee. All responses and communications from the City to the Contractors <br /> shall be in writing and shall be transmitted in return receipt registered mail (e.g., <br /> certified mail or Federal Express). In addition to, but not in lieu of, the City strongly <br /> urges all Contractors to send written communications or questions by facsimile in <br /> order to expedite the drafting of responses; the City will similarly send written <br /> responses or communications by facsimile. <br /> Any communication from the City to a Contractor will be transmitted <br /> simultaneously to all Contractors along with written questions submitted. <br /> Questions must be submitted in writing in accordance with the Schedule above, or <br /> be asked at the Pre-Proposal Conference. No questions will be accepted subsequent <br /> to the Pre-Proposal Conference. Questions will be answered to the degree possible at <br /> Page 24 <br />
