Written answers will be provided to each Contractor <br /> attending the Pre-Proposal Conferences. <br /> ES PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE <br /> One mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference will be held: <br /> Where: The Public Works Agency <br /> 101 W. Fourth Street <br /> Fourth Floor Conference Room <br /> When: 2:00 p.m. <br /> Friday, January 22, 1993 <br /> Attendance at the Pre-Proposal Conference is mandatory for all Contractors. <br /> Contractors whose representative(s) do not attend the Pre-Proposal Conference will <br /> not be allowed to continue in this RFP process, and their proposals, if submitted, <br /> shall be disqualified. If a joint proposal is to be submitted, a representative from <br /> each firm with a substantial interest (representing more than thirty-three (33) <br /> percent of the total interest) must attend the Pre-Proposal Conference. <br /> E.4 PROPOSALS SUBMITTAL <br /> E.4.1 Preparation Guidelines <br /> 1) Proposals must be typed, prepared on 8-1/2" x 11" paper, stapled or bound, and <br /> sealed. Oversized documents may be submitted, but they must be folded to size <br /> and secured in the proposal. All pages of the proposals must be numbered and <br /> sections clearly identified. <br /> 2) Proposals and all attachments shall be complete and free of ambiguities, <br /> alterations, and erasures. The proposal shall be executed by the Contractor's <br /> duly authorized officer or agent. In the event of conflict between words and <br /> numerals, the words shall prevail. <br /> E.4.2 Submittal Date <br /> Proposals must be submitted no later than 3:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time, March <br /> 8, 1993. <br /> E.4.3 Number of Proposal Copies&Delivery Requirements <br /> Technical and Cost Proposals must be submitted in separate envelopes at the same <br /> time. Each unbound original proposal, plus seven bound copies of said proposals, <br /> should be sealed in packaging that is clearly marked on the outside "CITY OF <br /> SANTA ANA SOLID WASTE COLLECTION AND RECYCLING RFP," and shall <br /> also be marked as containing "TECHNICAL PROPOSAL" or "COST PROPOSAL." <br /> Sealed proposals should be mailed or delivered to: <br /> Page 25 <br />
