COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT NO. C -5 -3583 <br />EXHIBIT B <br />Transportation Systems (ITS), and signalization and will specify requirements for communicating with <br />the public and local agencies during construction. <br />5.3.5 Signage /Striping <br />New traffic signage shall be provided to facilitate new lane configurations and traffic conditions. <br />The AUTHORITY will be responsible for the design and installation of all signage. Existing signage <br />along the alignment that is not affected will remain unless it is in conflict with the new traffic conditions. <br />The AUTHORITY will be responsible for striping. Final striping shall be a thin mil thermoplastic <br />application. The AUTHORITY shall replace all striping removed and restore all striping damaged by <br />the Project and match to existing striping consistent with CITY standards as defined by Exhibit B, <br />Section 6.1.1, as needed. All signing and marking shall comply with Manual of Uniform Traffic Control <br />Devices. <br />5.4 BIKE FACILITIES <br />5.4.1 Bike Lanes <br />The AUTHORITY shall coordinate with the CITY on bike lane locations on streets within the <br />alignment, including those consistent with the Complete Streets study commissioned by the CITY. <br />The Parties shall confirm the roadway geometry for all streets, including bike lanes, early in the design <br />process; see Exhibit B, Section 5.3.1 for specifics. <br />5.4.2 Bike Paths <br />There are no bike paths included in the Project. The implementation of any bike path in the <br />PE ROW shall be considered a Betterment. Any license requirements for a bike path in the PE ROW <br />shall be addressed in the Public Way Use Agreement. <br />5.5 LANDSCAPING/[ IRRIGATION <br />Any landscaping or irrigation systems in the public way or on City property impacted by Project <br />construction will be replaced or relocated with drought tolerant landscaping, space permitting. <br />No new landscaped areas are required for this Project. <br />Exhibit B <br />Page 7 <br />L:\CammNCLERICAL\WORDPROC\AGREEWG53583 -292 2Q 4.27.docx <br />
