o Councilmember Amezcua indicated she liked saving monies by combining the <br />events, but enjoyed the 5 K Run. <br />i OVERVIEW OF PARK IMPROVEMENT INVESTMENT <br />o Frank Arroyo presented the major park improvement projects funding in <br />2016 which totaled $19,719,084. <br />o City Manager indicated staff will provide detail information on the park <br />improvement, including Library improvements to the City Council by <br />council districts. <br />PARTNERSHIP WITH SAUSD UPDATE <br />o Gerardo Mouet presented a summary of the draft Irrevocable Trust <br />Agreement. <br />o Councilmember Tinajero indicated both ball diamonds from Segerstrom <br />High School should be part of the Joint Use. <br />o Gerardo Mouet clarified the $418,000 from adult soccer surcharge that it <br />can only be used for a synthetic field and that City Council is considering <br />at a future council meeting adding $500,000 for Segerstrom Joint Use <br />discussion with the District. <br />o Councilmember Amezcua indicated she needed more detail on Youth <br />Service Provider Summit. <br />• STAFF UPDATE AND COMMENTS <br />o None <br />• COMMITTEE MEMBER COMMENTS <br />o Councilmember Tinajero indicated the Segerstrom construction and that <br />the synthetic turf improvements and baseball field have started. <br />o Councilmember Amezcua thanked staff for the great work. <br />o Councilmember Tinajero also thanked staff and everyone for their hard <br />work and the need to work together. <br />o Councilmember Amezcua asked the City Manager to schedule a meeting <br />with Supervisor Andrew Do about the land behind Kennedy Elementary <br />School. <br />• FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS <br />o None. <br />• ADJOURNED: 6:29 p.m. <br />Gerardo Mouet <br />Executive Director, PRCSA <br />i., 't.
