<br />CLR Design (CLR) is an award-winning architectural and landscape architectural firm focused
<br />on designing zoological, animal conservation and botanical spaces around the world
<br />that inspire, educate, conserve and protect. With a solid theoretical and practical design
<br />foundation, and over 30 years of focused experience, we remain at the forefront of key
<br />innovations and trends that began with the advent of landscape Immersion and now include
<br />activity -based design for animals, adventure education, campus ecology, sustainable design
<br />and revenue driven entry complexes.
<br />CLR's LEED-CI Gold certified main office is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with
<br />23 highly qualified, full-time staff members. We also recently opened a satellite office In
<br />Laguna Beach, CA with 4 additional full-time staff members, The cumulative expertise and
<br />perspective of the principals and staff offers clients a unique, comprehensive approach to
<br />multi -disciplinary projects.

<br />services, for example, clients often often return for concept development, design and
<br />construction administration services. CLR has a proven track record of providing duality

<br />Corporate Business Structure
<br />CLR Design, Inc. was founded as a zoological design firm in 1984 and incorporated under
<br />the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 1988. The firm is equally owned by three
<br />individuals; Mark Beauchamp, Greg Dykstra, and Jbn StelAnsson. CLR Design, Inc. is legally
<br />located at 833 Chestnut Street, Suite 1000, Philadelphia, PA 19107.
<br />Design Standards
<br />CLR has been focused on Zoological Design and Planning for over 30 years and is familiar
<br />with all aspects and AZA guidelines for animal facility design both in North America and
<br />Internationally, Additionally we are a full-service architectural and landscape architectural
<br />design firm familiar with governing codes and regulations as required of licensed design
<br />professionals in these fields,
<br />CLR Design will be the prime consultant and project administrator and will report directly
<br />to the Santa Ana Zoo, and/or manager of the Planning and Design effort, and will meetwith
<br />City agencies to facilitate the planning process. CLR's team of sub consultants, providing
<br />strategic planning, utility infrastructure and CASp assessment, and cost estimating, will
<br />report directly to CLR.
