CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR <br />WEBSITE REDESIGN AND IMPLMENTATION OF DRUPAL <br />CONTENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM <br />The City of Santa Ana (the "City") is soliciting proposals for a comprehensive website redesign and <br />implementation of a Drupal-based content management system. Any eventual system must not only <br />meet the requirements set forth in this Request for Proposal (RFP),, but must also be flexible and <br />scalable in order to meet the City's future business'and technology needs. <br />The purpose of the RFP is to provide interested vendors with sufficient information to enable them <br />to propose and submit proposals for the scope outlined within the RFP. <br />The City seeks proposals from interested vendors that have proven experience in designing, <br />Implementing and supporting Drupal websites that support local governments (City, County, etc.) of <br />similar size to the Santa Ana. <br />It. PERIOD OF CONTRACT <br />Unless earlier terminated as allowed for in the agreement, contract term shall be for a period of one <br />(1) year. The contract term is anticipated to commence after City Council award of this contract and <br />upon receipt and approval of all required bonds and Insurance documents. <br />III. OPTION OF RENEWAL <br />The term of this agreement may include provision for renewals as set forth in the Scope of Services, <br />attached as Exhibit A. <br />IV. FISCAL NONFUNDING CLAUSE <br />In the event sufficient budgeted funds are not available for a new fiscal period, the City shall retain <br />the right to notify the provider of such occurrence in writing at least thirty (30) days before the end of <br />the current fiscal period and terminate the contract on the last day of the current fiscal period <br />without penalty or expense to the City. <br />V. SCOPE OF WORK/SERVICES <br />The scope of work may include any and all work efforts related to the Website Redesign and <br />Implementation of Drupal Content Management System as set forth in EXHIBIT A - SCOPE OF <br />SERVICES. <br />The contractor shall be an independent contractor capable of providing experienced, <br />knowledgeable and professional staff. The contractor shall be responsive and maintain excellent <br />working relationships with city residents, businesses, government officials and City staff. The <br />contractor shall provide adequate staffing levels at all times and adhere to established schedules. <br />25&37 <br />
