Agreement for On -Call Repair Services for Traffic Management & Communication Systems <br />July 5, 2017 <br />Page 2 <br />Based on the RFP results, staff recommends that the on-call contract for advanced traffic <br />management system and communication systems repair services be awarded to Crosstown <br />Electrical & Data, Inc. This contractor will serve as the only vendor authorized by the City for the <br />term of this agreement. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #6 - Community Facilities & <br />Infrastructure, Objective #1 (establish and maintain a Community Investment Plan for all City <br />assets), Strategy C (invest resources and technology to extend the service life of existing <br />infrastructure to protect the City's investment and support a high quality of life standard). <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />There is no environmental impact associated with this action. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Upon approval of the Fiscal Year 2017-18 Annual Budget, funds in the amount of $50,000 will be <br />available in the Traffic Signal Maintenance Account (No. 02917620-62321) for expenditure in FY <br />2017-18.
