STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item allows the City to meet Goal #7 — Team Santa Ana, Objective #4, Establish <br />employee compensation that attracts and retains a highly qualified workforce and Objective #6, <br />Provide a positive workplace environment that supports the health of its employees and celebrates <br />its success. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The gross value of the Police Officers Association (POA) Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) <br />for the period July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018 totals $3,867,551. A combination of <br />offsets/adjustments in the MOU are estimated at $1,791,453, and reallocations of positions or <br />programs are projected to be $2,076,098. <br />Staff will monitor the realization for the above -referenced offsets and program savings / <br />reallocations.
