F31J� OCTA I Santa Ana/Garden Grove Fixed Guideway Project <br />Visual Impact Analysis Re-evaluation Technical Memo <br />• Addition of abridge span on the west bank of the SAR, behind an existing levee to <br />accommodate an undercrossing for the SAR Trail and Bikeway(and Orange County <br />Flood Control District (OCFCD) maintenance road). The profile of the trail and <br />maintenance road would be modified to facilitate the grade separation; <br />• Relocation of the traction power substations (TPSS) to the PE ROWand publically <br />owned properties and reducing the number of TPSS from sixto four; and, <br />• Change from single contact wire in the PE ROWto a two -wire catenaryto enhance <br />operations at higher speed. <br />Supplemental Visual Impact Analysis <br />The 2012 Visual Impact Assessment thatwas included in AppendixEofthe 2015 ENEIR <br />organized the project into three segments for purposes ofevaluating potential Visual impacts. <br />These segments consisted of Segment 1: PE ROW, Segment 2: Flower to Raitt Street, and <br />Segment 3: Flower to Santa Ana Regional Transit Center (See Figure 1, EA Alignment <br />Segments forVisual Impact Assessment).
