UNDERSTANDING OF NEED <br />Houston & Harris has been providing sewer cleaning, sewer main television inspection, sewer manhole <br />inspection, sewer lateral inspection, data submission, and as -needed service requests to the City of <br />Santa Ana for 14 years. We have a complete understanding of the unique aspects of the City's <br />wastewater system, the City's technology, and the City's expectations for excellence. We have <br />assembled a team of professionals with the experience to deliver the City's desired results, and has a <br />demonstrated track record of exceeding expectations. We have thoroughly examined all elements of the <br />RFP and are not only familiar, but experienced with the services and responsibilities required. H & H has <br />demonstrated the capacity to effectively and efficiently perform high quality work to achieve results and <br />City objectives. Supporting the City of Santa Ana Public Works Agency, Houston & Harris will ensure all <br />project timelines, tasks and outcomes associated with the proposed scope of services are not only met, <br />but exceeded. Sewer cleaning, video inspection, lateral inspection, manhole inspection and data <br />processing all fall into the scope of expertise of our operators and staff. <br />Houston & Harris has the following fleet of equipment available for this project: <br />5 Vector combination cleaning trucks — 80 GPM @ 2,000PSI <br />• 1 Vector j etti ng truck <br />• 1 2,000 gallon water truck <br />• Up to 1000 feet of one inch high pressure sewer cleaning hose <br />• Debris tanks between 9 and 15 cubic yards <br />• All trucks are outfitted with nozzles for sewer or storm drain lines from 6 inches through 24 inches <br />• Wide variety of specialty nozzles for larger size lines when needed <br />6 Video inspection CCTV vans <br />• 1 Manhole inspection van <br />• 1 Lateral launch system <br />• Camera cable reels with capacity to reach up to 2000 feet <br />Wheel and track camera transporters <br />• 1 Mobile safety truck <br />2 Trailer mounted arrow boards <br />The average tenure of the Houston & Harris camera technicians is ten years of experience in televising <br />sewer and storm drain lines. Our video operators are knowledgeable, detail -orientated, and have <br />excellent communication skills. Every new video technician is trained by a senior operator for a minimum <br />of two years before they are able to inspect pipe on their own. Each camera is properly serviced and <br />maintained by our in-house certified RST technician.
