Small Business Incentive Grants to three businesses <br />Development <br />Public Services <br />• Funded 12 programs and served 3,454 persons <br />Completed construction of Andalucia, a 70 -unit affordable rental <br />housing project, of which 2 units are HOME -assisted units <br />• Commencement of construction of the Orchard, a 71 unit <br />affordable permanent supportive housing project for chronically <br />homeless individuals, of which 9 units are HOME -assisted units <br />• Construction is approximately 65% complete at the Depot at <br />Housing <br />Santiago, a 70 unit affordable housing, project of which 11 units <br />are HOME -assisted units <br />Increased the pre -commitment HOME loan amount to the Santa <br />Ana Arts Collective, a 57 unit affordable rental housing project, to <br />decrease the financial gap <br />Rehabilitated three single family units and four mobile homes <br />• Inspected 3,206 housing units and issued violations <br />Code Enforcement <br />enforcement violations estimated at $1,636,778 <br />Correction of code <br />Provided assistance to 1,170 persons through Street Outreach, <br />Homeless Services <br />Homeless Prevention, Rapid Re -housing or Shelter inlcuding 21 <br />Veterans, 295 Victims of Domestic Violence, and 337 children <br />HUD regulations require that the CAPER be available for a 15 -day public review and comment <br />period prior to its submittal. On August 9, 2017, a public notice was published in the Orange <br />County Register, La Opinion, and Nguoi Viet News indicating that the draft report would be <br />available for review and public comment beginning August 21 through Septmber 5, 2017. The <br />draft CAPER was also available for public review on the City's website. All comments received in <br />written form and at the above-mentioned public hearing will be included in the final document <br />submitted to HUD, which is due no later than September 28, 2017. Due to the timeframe for <br />submission, the final document may include minor revisions, pending final activity and <br />expenditure reports. <br />1901-2 <br />
