Approval of an Additional 30 Days to Conclude the Negotiation with USA Waste of California, Inc. <br />September 19, 2017 <br />Page 2 <br />All community feedback and comments have been considered in the development of the City's <br />Solid Waste Program Scope of Work, for inclusion in the possible extension or any new solid <br />waste services agreement. <br />Staff and Waste Management of Orange County continue to work diligently to compile and <br />analyze agreement components. Still to be finalized are new recycling programs, including State <br />requirements for organics (Assembly Bill 1826) and commercial/multi-family (Assembly Bill 341) <br />recycling.
