Section 3—State Changes and Initiatives 12015 <br />FY2015 SHSP While the State Homeland Security Strategy broadly describes goals, <br />Priorities objectives, and implementation steps, its priorities for FY2015 HSGP are: <br />1. Information Analysis and Sharing <br />2. Critical Infrastructure Protection <br />3. Communication Capabilities <br />4. Community Preparedness and Resilience <br />5. Catastrophic Planning <br />6. Medical and Public Health Preparedness <br />7. Food and Agriculture Preparedness <br />8. Security Exercise, Evaluation and Training <br />State Initiative For FY2015 HSGP, Cal OES shall retain 20% of the SHSP and 20% of the <br />Funding UASI funding for the state initiatives. <br />"On Behalf Of" Cal OES may, in conjunction with local approval authorities, designate funds <br />"on behalf of local entities that choose to decline or fail to utilize their <br />homeland security award in a timely manner. <br />Regional Subrecipients must take a regional approach and consider the needs of local <br />Approach units of government and applicable volunteer organizations in the projects and <br />activities included in their FY2015 HSGP application. <br />Strategy, <br />In the Spring of 2015, Cal OES plans to conduct its annual Strategy, Planning <br />Planning and <br />and Metrics Workshop to receive statewide input across all disciplines. Costs <br />Metrics <br />associated with this eligible planning activity should be included in the <br />Workshop <br />subrecipient application. <br />Non- <br />When seeking approval of non-DHS/FEMA developed courses, course <br />DHS/FEMA <br />materials must be submitted with the approval requests.
