Agreement with NCE (Nichols Consulting Engineers) <br />Pavement Management Consulting Services <br />October 17, 2017 <br />Page 2 <br />The proposal by NCE contains adequate labor efforts to complete the required services. The firm's rates <br />are reasonable and within industry standard, the team qualifications are appropriate for this program, and <br />the proposal was found to provide the best value for the City. The proposed fee, in the amount of <br />$85,550, plus a ten percent contingency of $8,555, yields a recommended not -to -exceed total contract <br />amount of $94,105 (Exhibit 1). <br />A large proportion of the work under this agreement involves individual street assessments in the field, <br />and most of that work will take place during the current fiscal year.
