Processing Solid Wastes collected by CONTRACTOR in the CITY and delivered by <br />CONTRACTOR to a designated Materials Recovery Facility or Composting Facility. The parties <br />have agreed upon the initial Processing Charges, as set forth hereinafter, and such charges are <br />subject to adjustments as provided in this Agreement. The cost of transporting the residue of the <br />CITY'S Solid Waste stream to a Disposal Site after Processing the Recyclable Solid Wastes <br />therefrom and the cost of transporting Recyclable Solid Wastes to their ultimate destination shall <br />be deemed part of this Processing Charge, but the gate fee charged at said Disposal Site for <br />depositing said Solid Waste residue shall not be included in the Processing Charge. <br />(41) Recyclable Materials shall mean those materials which are capable of being <br />Recycled and which have been Source Separated by the Customer and which except for such <br />Source Separation would otherwise be processed or disposed of as Solid Waste. No Discarded <br />Materials shall be considered Recyclable Materials unless such material is separated from Solid <br />Waste and Organic Materials. Recyclable Materials shall include, but not be limited to: <br />newspaper (including inserts, coupons, and store advertisements); mixed paper (including office <br />paper, computer paper, magazines, junk mail, catalogs, brown paper bags, brown paper, <br />paperboard, paper egg cartons, telephone books, grocery bags, colored paper, construction paper, <br />envelopes, legal pad backings, shoe boxes, cereal and other similar food boxes); chipboard; <br />corrugated cardboard; glass containers, all colors; aluminum (including beverage containers, foil, <br />food containers, small pieces of scrap metal); scrap metal weighing less than 10 pounds (without <br />cords or chains and fitting into the container); steel, tin or bi-metal cans; empty plastic <br />containers, Numbers 1 to 7; and textiles. <br />(42) Recyclable Solid Waste means and includes those Solid Wastes which may be <br />sorted, cleansed, treated, processed and/or reconstituted for purposes of reuse. Recyclable Solid <br />Wastes are not a separate category of materials, but merely an evolving portion of the entire <br />stream of Solid Waste generated within the CITY. <br />(43) Recycling means collecting, sorting, cleansing, treating, Processing and <br />reconstituting Recyclable Solid Wastes for the purpose of reuse or sale. <br />(44) Residential Bin Service shall mean Bin Service which is provided by <br />CONTRACTOR to any and all residential users which request or require such services pursuant <br />to this Agreement. <br />(45) Residential Curbside Service Unit shall mean each single family residence and <br />duplex unit which receives curbside collection services provided by CONTRACTOR. <br />(46) Residential Solid Waste means Solid Waste originating from single-family or <br />multiple family dwellings. <br />(47) Roll -Off Service shall mean Solid Waste collection from transportable containers <br />of 10 cubic yards or larger which are dropped off at a residence, commercial or industrial <br />establishment and later removed for collection of contents of said container. Roll -Off Service <br />includes compactors which may be used with roll -off containers. <br />(48) Solid Waste shall mean all Solid Wastes, including, but not by way of limitation, <br />Recyclable Solid Wastes, whether now recyclable or not, generated and/or accumulated by all <br />25F-15 <br />
