CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DRAFT SCOPE OF WORK <br />wood. Special pricing will be offered for Tires. CONTRACTOR will describe how it will encourage <br />reuse and recycling and comply with the Collection Agreement. <br />COLLECTOR will assist Customers to comply with the requirements of the 2013 California Building <br />Standards Code including Part 11 California Green Building Standards Code which provides, among <br />other requirements, the diversion of 50% of all debris generated at a site from landfills either by <br />source -separated recycling or by processing at a facility or facilities that cause not less than 50 <br />percent of those materials to be diverted from landfills. COLLECTOR agrees to transport all Roll -Off <br />collected within the Service Area to a materials processing facility for processing and recovery of <br />recyclable materials resulting in a minimum 50% diversion from landfill disposal. COLLECTOR will <br />provide Customers with the documentation necessary to demonstrate compliance with CalGreen <br />debris diversion. <br />6. CITY SERVICES <br />CITY facilities will be provided all Core collection services at "no charge." Collections will be scheduled <br />at a time mutually agreed upon by the CONTRACTOR and the CITY. The cost of these services will be <br />included in the overall rate structure to provide services to the other three sectors (i.e., Residential <br />Curbside, MED and Commercial). <br />6.1 CORE SERVICES FOR CITY <br />A. Solid Waste Collection <br />CONTRACTOR will provide wheeled Carts, Bins and/or Roll -Off boxes for collection of solid <br />waste. The CITY will have the opportunity to subscribe to the appropriate service level. Carts will <br />be made available including 64 and 96 gallons. Bins will be made available in sizes including 1, <br />2, 3, and 4 cubic yards. Collection frequency will be at least once (1) per week and up to seven <br />(7) times per week. Roll -Off box service will be made available in container sizes including 10, <br />20 and 40 cubic yards. <br />B. Recyclable Materials Collection <br />CONTRACTOR will provide recycling collection service at CITY Facilities at no additional <br />charge. CONTRACTOR will provide Carts, Bins and/or Roll -Off boxes for collection of <br />recyclable materials. <br />C. Organic Materials Collection <br />CONTRACTOR will provide Organic Materials Collection service at CITY Facilities at no <br />additional charge. CONTRACTOR will provide Carts, Bins and/or Roll -Off boxes for collection <br />of Organic Materials. <br />D. Parkway Clean -Up Following Garage Sales <br />CONTRACTOR will provide 2 employees in a "front -loader" vehicle that will devote 60 hours <br />each six working days following the quarterly garage sales to canvass the CITY neighborhoods in <br />order to remove debris left in the parkways after garage sales. CONTRACTOR will transport all <br />Solid Waste collected by the CONTRACTOR from Parkway Cleanups within the CITY <br />boundaries to a state permitted MRF, as provided in, and in compliance with, CalRecycle, which <br />MRF will be acceptable to the CITY. <br />25F-71 <br />
