<br />BUDGETARY MATTERS <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENTS <br /> <br />20A. APPROVE APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENTS AND AWARD CONTRACT FOR <br />EMERGENCY REPAIRS RELATED TO JANUARY 2017 STORM DAMAGE AT <br />THE LINCOLN AVENUE CHANNELS (PROJECT 17-6613) {STRATEGIC PLAN <br />NO. 6, 1C} (Personnel Services Agency) - Public Works Agency <br /> <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTIONS: <br /> <br /> <br />1.Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to award and execute a <br />construction contract to Arnaz Engineering Contractors, Inc., for emergency <br />construction to repair storm damage at the Lincoln Avenue Channel, to be <br />performed on a time-and-materials basis, in the total amount not to exceed <br />$431,250, subject to non-substantive changes approved by the City Manager and <br />the City Attorney. <br /> <br /> <br />2.Approve the Project Cost Analysis for a total estimated construction delivery cost <br />of $540,000, which includes the contract amount, administration, inspection, <br />testing, and an authorized contingency of $44,025. <br /> <br /> <br />3.Approve an appropriation adjustment. (Requires five affirmative votes) <br /> <br /> <br />a.APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT NO. 2018 – 032 - Approve an <br />appropriation adjustment appropriating $460,000 from prior year fund <br />balance in the Local Drainage Area II revenue account, and appropriating <br />the same amount into the Local Drainage Area II expenditure account. <br /> <br /> <br />b.Approve an appropriation adjustment. (Requires five affirmative votes) <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT NO. 2018 – 031 -Approve an <br />appropriation adjustment appropriating $80,000 from prior year fund balance <br />in the Local Drainage Area V revenue account, and appropriating the same <br />amount into the Local Drainage Area V expenditure account. <br /> <br /> <br />AGREEMENTS <br /> <br />25A. APPROVAL OF VARIOUS HISTORIC PROPERTY PRESERVATION <br />AGREEMENTS {STRATEGIC PLAN NOS. 5, 2, 3} - Planning and Building Agency <br /> <br /> Historic Resources Commission approved recommended action on September 28, 2017. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION: Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the <br />Council to execute the attached Mills Act agreements with the below-referenced <br />property owners for the identified structures, subject to non-substantive changes <br />approved by the City Manager and City Attorney. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL AGENDA 8 OCTOBER 17, 2017 <br /> <br /> <br />
