This <br />house was originally constructed in 1924, and was valued at approximately $5,000, according to the original building permit. <br />The first listed owner of the property is Roy Russell, who subdivided the Floral Park neighborhood in the 1920s and 1930s, <br />and who likely never actually resided in the property. According to city directories the first recorded occupant is Otto A. <br />Jacobs, a well-known criminal attorney in Orange County. Jacobs was partner of the law firm of Head, Wellington, & Jacobs <br />while he resided at the property. The next recorded occupant is Lytel D. Larsen, who sold real estate, and who lived in the <br />property during the 1940s. The 1950 city directory lists Sam Matasar as the occupant, Matasar was a salesman. In 1962, <br />E.R.
