ARTICLE I <br />1.0 RECOGNITION <br />1.1 Pursuant to the provisions of the Meyers-Millias-Brown Act, Government Code Section <br />3500, et se ., the City of Santa Ana (hereinafter called the "City") has recognized the Santa <br />Ana City Employees Association, Chapter 1939/Service Employees International Union <br />Local 721 (hereinafter called the "Union") as the recognized representative of the <br />bargaining unit which includes all full-time personnel employed by the City of Santa Ana <br />in classifications listed in Exhibit A of this MOU. <br />1.2 During the term of this MOU, no substantive issue of representation shall be raised contrary <br />to this MOU except as provided in Resolution No. 81-75, the Employer -Employee <br />Relations Resolution of the City of Santa Ana. <br />25B-5 <br />
