City of Santa Ana, California <br />2. Recyclable Materials Collection <br />Section 3. Scope of Requested Collection Services <br />Contractor will provide recycling collection service at City facilities, operations and events at <br />,no charge." Contractor will provide carts, bins, compactors and roll -off boxes for collection <br />of recyclable materials. The City will have the opportunity to subscribe to the appropriate <br />service level. Carts will be made available including 64 and 96 gallons. Bins will be made <br />available in sizes including 1, 2, 3, and 4 cubic yards. Collection frequency will be at least <br />once (1) per week and up to seven (7) times per week. Roll -off box service will be made <br />available in container sizes including 10, 20 and 40 cubic yards. <br />3. Organic Materials Collection <br />Contractor will provide Organic Materials Collection service at City Facilities at "no charge." <br />charge. Contractor will provide carts, bins, compactors and roll -off boxes for collection of <br />Organic Materials. The City will have the opportunity to subscribe to the appropriate service <br />level. Carts will be made available including 64 and 96 gallons. Bins will be made available in <br />sizes including 1, 2, 3, and 4 cubic yards. Collection frequency will be at least once (1) per <br />week and up to seven (7) times per week. Roll -off box service will be made available in <br />container sizes including 10, 20 and 40 cubic yards. <br />4. Parkway Clean -Up Following Garage Sales <br />Contractor will provide two (2) employees in a "front -loader" vehicle that will devote 60 <br />hours each six working days following the quarterly garage sales to canvass the City <br />neighborhoods in order to remove debris left in the parkways after garage sales. <br />5. On -Call Parkway Clean -Up of Abandoned Items <br />Contractor will provide on-call Parkway Clean -Up of abandoned items at the request of the <br />City. Contractor is required to describe its methodology to provide on-call collection of <br />Parkway abandoned items within 24 hours of a request from the City. <br />6. Alley Clean -Up <br />Contractor will provide 2 employees in a "front -loader" vehicle who will devote 50 hours <br />each, six working days of each week, to canvass the City neighborhoods in order to remove <br />debris left in alleyways following relocations. <br />7. Neighborhood Clean -Up <br />Contractor will supply roll -off boxes for City sponsored neighborhood cleanups at no cost to <br />the City. The number of roll off containers will not exceed a maximum total number of three <br />hundred (300) containers annually. The City will have the option to add 20 additional roll -off <br />boxes during each five (5) year period of the contract. For example, starting year six (6), the <br />City may require 320 containers annually. <br />8. City Sponsored Events <br />Contractor will provide wheeled carts, special event boxes with liners and recycling lids, <br />bins, and/or roll -off boxes to collect solid waste and recyclable materials at "no charge" for <br />City -sponsored events. Contractor will assist the venue and event organizers with <br />developing recycling plans and reporting data. When requested by event organizers, solid <br />waste and recycling collection service will be provided for each venue or event. Carts to be <br />made available include 64 and 96 -gallon carts. Bins will be made available in sizes including <br />1,2,3 and 4 cubic yards.
