City of Santa Ana, California <br />Section 3. Scope of Requested Collection Services <br />Contractor will provide on-call collection of bulky waste to Commercial scheduling the <br />service with Contractor with 48 hours' notice. Customers may place up to five items out for <br />collection per pick-up. Items will be collected on the Customer's regular collection day. <br />Contractor will be required to separate and recycle all commodities that can be feasibly <br />recovered. Customers will pay a separate fee in accordance with the established rate. <br />5. On -Call Electronic Waste (E -Waste) Recycling Collection <br />Contractor will provide on-call a -waste collection. Contractor is required to describe its <br />methodology to provide on-call collection of a -waste (e.g., material types, customer set -out <br />requirements, control mechanisms for spills and contamination, and any limitations on <br />allowable amounts) along with a fee per pick-up that would cover all program costs. <br />6. On -Call Universal Waste Recycling Collection <br />Contractor will provide on-call universal waste recycling collection service. Universal waste <br />collection includes fluorescent lamps, cathode ray tubes, instruments that contain mercury, <br />and batteries. Contractor is required to describe its methodology to provide on-call <br />collection and recycling of universal waste (e.g., material types, customer set -out <br />requirements, chain of custody documentation, and any limitations on allowable amounts) <br />along with a fee per pick-up that would cover all program costs. <br />3.2.3 Roll -Off Collection Services <br />Roll -Off collection services include the delivery, removal and recycling or disposal of used or <br />discarded materials removed from premises excluding C&D materials and Exempt Waste. <br />1. Roll -Off Collection Service Requirements <br />Contractor will provide Roll -Off collection from Service Units in the Service Area and the <br />delivery of that material to the Materials Recovery Facility, Transfer Station or Disposal <br />Facility, as appropriate. Roll -Off collection service will be made available in container sizes <br />including 10, 20 and 40 cubic yards. Special pricing will be offered for Tires. Contractor will <br />describe how it will encourage reuse and recycling and comply with the Collection <br />Agreement. <br />3.2.4 City Services <br />All services at City facilities, operations and events, unless otherwise noted, will be provided at <br />"no charge." City collection services includes C&D materials. Collections will be scheduled at a <br />time mutually agreed upon by the Contractor and the City. Collection at City facilities, <br />operations and events include those listed below. <br />1. Weekly Solid Waste Collection <br />Contractor will provide wheeled carts, bins, compactors and/or roll -off boxes for collection <br />of solid waste and C&D material. The City will have the opportunity to subscribe to the <br />appropriate service level. Carts will be made available including 64 and 96 gallons. Bins will <br />be made available in sizes including 1, 2, 3, and 4 cubic yards. Collection frequency will be at <br />least once (1) per week and up to seven (7) times per week.
