Relations are incorporated herein by reference and may be accessed at <br />hftp://www.dir.ca.go . <br />The Contractor is required to pay the prevailing wage rate referred to above and is <br />responsible for selecting the classification of workers which will be required to perform <br />this service in accordance with the Contractor's method of performing the work. <br />Pursuant to Section 1775 of the Labor Code (State of California) Contractor shall forfeit <br />$50 for each calendar day, or portion thereof, for each worker paid less than the <br />stipulated prevailing wage rates for any public work done under this Contract or by any <br />subcontractor. <br />VIII. SAFETY & HEALTH REQUIREMENT <br />The Contractor shall comply with the applicable health and safety regulations and <br />requirements from CAL/OSHA, State of California Construction Safety Orders and the <br />City of Santa Ana. <br />IX. TRAFFIC CONTROL <br />Traffic control shall be the responsibility of the Contractor and shall conform to the <br />Work Area Traffic Control Handbook (WATCH). Flashing arrow boards shall be <br />used on arterial streets. <br />2. All vehicles and or towed equipment shall carry "City of Santa Ana Authorized <br />Contractor" magnet sign affixed and visible. <br />3. The Contractor shall comply with all federal, state and local laws, rules, <br />regulations, ordinances, and statutes, including but not limited to these contract <br />documents. <br />X. PROTECTION OF PROPERTY <br />The Contractor shall perform all work and prevent damage to public and/or private <br />property. In the event damage occurs, the contractor shall replace and/or repair the <br />damaged property at no cost to the City. Any cost incurred by the City to repair damage <br />caused by the contractor or their subcontractors and repaired by City staff shall be the <br />responsibility of the Contractor and will be deducted from any outstanding balances. <br />XI. UNSATISFACTORY WORK <br />In the event that work performed by the Contractor is not satisfactory, the Contractor will <br />be notified by the City and allowed (1) calendar day to correct the deficient work at no <br />charge to the City. <br />25P-13 <br />
