GG R A N I C U S RFP NO.: 17-107 Automated Agenda Workflow <br />Program and Meeting Video Streaming/Archiving <br />With Granicus SaaS offerings, you have the added benefit of our partnership with <br />Amazon Web Services (AWS). The AWS virtual infrastructure has been designed to <br />provide optimum availability while ensuring complete customer privacy and <br />segregation. AWS's highly secure data centers use state-of-the-art electronic <br />surveillance and multi -factor access control systems and maintain strict, least - <br />privileged -based access authorizations. Their environmental systems are designed to <br />minimize the impact of disruptions to operations, and their multiple geographic regions <br />and availability zones allow customers to remain resilient in the face of most failure <br />modes, including natural disasters or system failures. AWS manages over 1,800 security <br />controls to provide an optimally secure environment for all of their customers. <br />Current technical environment consists of: <br />• Windows 7 and Windows 10 PCs <br />• Microsoft Office 2010, 2013, 2016, but planning on migrating all to 2016 this year. <br />• VMWare virtual server environment <br />• Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, but planning upgrade to Exchange 2016 this <br />year. <br />• Laserfiche EDMS 9.2, Laserfiche Forms 10.2 <br />The ideal program will be compatible with and will not require upgrades to the existing <br />systems. <br />Granicus Response: We do not anticipate any compatibility issues with the City's current <br />technical environment. <br />The proposed solution must allow delegate users and groups, as well as security access <br />that is authenticated against the City's Active Directory for single sign -on. <br />Granicus Response: When Administrators choose to configure Active Directory <br />Authentication for Legistar, a run-time query is made against the customer provided <br />Active Directory endpoint and the current user credentials (signed in to the Windows <br />machine) that is attempting to sign -in to Legistar is validated against AD as a valid and <br />active user account.
