City of Santa Ana Recycled Water Master Plan <br />Firm Team <br />The City of Santa Ana desires to retain a <br />qualified consultant to prepare a Recycled <br />This section is comprised of the Project <br />Understanding and Approach, followed <br />by the Scope of Work. It includes a <br />detailed description of the intended <br />methodology and work plan to be <br />utilized in addressing the scope of work. <br />It describes our perception of the work <br />required and how our firm, personnel, <br />and services will be utilized. <br />Water Master Plan that promotes the <br />expanded use of recycled water in the City <br />and accomplishes the following: <br />1. Creates a plan for constructing <br />recycled water service lines for <br />customer's adjacent to existing <br />recycled water pipelines, <br />Z Identifies strategies for creating a City <br />owned recycled water distribution <br />system, <br />3. Expands the recycled water distribution <br />system to strategic parts of the City, <br />4. Identifies other potential sources of <br />recycled water, <br />5. Identifies funding needs and GIP <br />budget, <br />6. Identifies potential funding sources <br />including, but not limited to, grants, <br />loans or other subsidies, <br />7. Creates a recycled water computerized <br />hydraulic model. <br />To meet the City's expectations the TRHA <br />Team has assembled a uniquely qualified <br />team of recycled water experts for this <br />project. <br />Aanager, <br />nan, PE, <br />years of <br />in the <br />design, <br />financing, and onsite <br />conversions of recycled water systems. Mr. <br />Holliman was the principal author the <br />CA/NV AWWA Dual Distribution Guidelines <br />and the primary force behind making purple <br />the internationalized recognized <br />identification of non -potable water systems. <br />The winner of three WateReuse Association <br />awards for Special Merit Projects including <br />the first dual plumbed buildings to use <br />recycled water for flushing toilets and <br />urinals, use of recycled water for ground <br />subsidence control, and recently the first <br />professional hockey rink in the U.S. to use <br />recycled water for making ice. Mr. Hollirrian <br />has developed and managed recycled water <br />programs for the Irvine Ranch Water <br />District, Long Beach Water Department as <br />well as provided recycled water engineering <br />services for the City of Oxnard's GREAT <br />projects, City of Lompoc, Pomona, Castaic <br />Lake Water Agency, and Rincon del Diablo <br />Municipal Water District. He is also an <br />AWWA'and USC certified Cross -Connection <br />Control Program Specialist. <br />Joining Mr. Holliman is <br />our Principal Planner, <br />John Robinson. Mr. <br />Robinson has over 20 <br />years of experience <br />which includes the <br />coordination of tasks <br />with his support team <br />and other task leads to <br />deliver a coordinated and accurate recycled <br />water master plans. He has completed over <br />35 recycled water regional and master <br />planning. John is a leader in hydraulic <br />modeling, economic feasibility, and <br />engineering analysis of recycled water, <br />Firm Team, Understanding of Need and Approach, and Scope of Work <br />25A-14 <br />Page 1 <br />
