The report includes <br />tasks, next steps, outcomes, and percentage completed for each project. <br />The CIP Executive Summary Schedule is available on the City's website at: <br />http://santa-ana/pwa/documents/ExecutiveMonth IVC I PUpdate Feb ruary2018.pdf <br />The following remarks are provided to note significant matters related to CIP projects: <br />The City will be awarding a construction contract for water main replacements within the West <br />Grove Neighborhood. This work will significantly improve the reliability of water delivery and will <br />maintain high quality drinking water in Santa Ana. <br />The existing pipes in this neighborhood are cast iron, and they have been experiencing a number <br />of significant breaks and leaks. These water mains have been identified as a priority <br />replacement. The improvements will also increase water system capacity. <br />If the construction contract is awarded as anticipated, the city's construction team will coordinate <br />with the contactor to provide outreach to all residents and businesses impacted by construction <br />beginning in April 2018. In addition, the residents will receive a minimum 24 hours advance <br />19C-1 <br />
