HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION APPLICATION NO. 2017-27, HISTORIC <br />REGISTER CATEGORIZATION NO. 2017-26, AND HISTORIC PROPERTY <br />PRESERVATION AGREEMENT NO. 2017-31 <br />(Property: 1722 North Heliotrope Drive – Frandson-Mouwdy House) <br /> <br />Legal notice published in the Orange County Reporter on October 13, 2017 and notices <br />mailed October 13, 2017. <br /> <br />Senior Planner McCann provided a presentation which included the project description, <br />designation, and architectural style. Roy Reimer, applicant, spoke in support of <br />recommended action. Chairperson Christy opened the public hearing. There were no <br />additional speakers on the matter and the hearing was closed. Vice Chair Schaefer <br />provided additional information on previous owners, the Mouwdy family, and requested <br />“Mouwdy” be added to the name of the house. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />1. Adopt a resolution approving Historic Resources Commission Application No. <br />2017-27 and approving Historic Register Categorization No. 2017-26 and change <br />name of home to “Franson-Mouwdy House”. <br /> <br />2.
