This
house was originally constructed in 1926, and was valued at approximately $6,500, according to the original building permit.
While there is no architect or contractor listed in the original building permit, Dr. Harry G. Huffman was listed as the owner at
the time of construction. Harry was a medical doctor and president of the Orange County Medical Assocation during the
period that he and his spouse Vyvian Huffman lived in the house. The Huffman resided in the house until some time
between 1942 and 1944, when, according to voter registration records, their primary residence changed to 2402 Bonnie
Brae, known as the Van Dien House, in the Floral Park neighborhood of Santa Ana. The next occupant was D.W. McNamara,
listed as the owner in 1947, followed by W.A. or W.H. Thomas, who purchased the property at some time before 1956.
(See Continuation Sheet 3 of 4.)
1311. Additional Resource Attributes: (List attributes and
*1312.
