Also address integrity) The Molfetto House is architecturally significant as a characteristic example of the Minimal Traditional style. This house was originally constructed in 1939, and was valued at approximately $3,000, according to the original building permit. The contractor was listed as Roy Russell, who subdivided the Floral Park neighborhood in the 1920s and 1930s. At the time of construction, the property owner was listed as Horace C. Head, although it is unclear if Head ever lived in the building. According to city directories, the first recorded occupant is Michael Molfetto, who lived in the house beginning at some time before 1947, and owned an automobile parking business. According to city directories and building permits, the second recorded owner and occupant is Samuel Dreizen, an attorney and partner of Santa Ana -based law firm Meyer & Dreizen, who occupied the property at some time circa 1947-1949. In 1960, the occupant is recorded as Jerald D. Maxwell, according to voter registration records. However, it has not been determined the length of Maxwell's occupancy.
