After submitting a bid <br />for a 2018 Chevy Silverado, Guaranty Chevrolet contacted Fleet staff to inform them they were <br />unable to secure said vehicle. <br />2. Authorize a one-time purchase and payment of purchase order to Raceway Ford for the <br />procurement of a 2018 Ford F350 Super Cab truck with utility body insert in the amount of <br />$58,595, plus a $2,000 contingency, for a total amount not to exceed $60,595, subject to non - <br />substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney. <br />The Finance and Management Services Agency, Facilities, Fleet Maintenance and Central Stores <br />Division is responsible forthe acquisition, maintenance, repair, and replacement of vehicles, trucks, <br />and maintenance equipment. The Public Works Agency is in need of a new utility truck for its <br />Water Production staff. To maximize resources and deploy staff in a more efficient manner, the <br />Public Works Water Resources Division is now assigning one vehicle to one staff person, instead <br />of pairing up maintenance staff in one vehicle. This will enable Water Resources Division staff to <br />provide more timely response to water production maintenance issues throughout the city. <br />The Notice Inviting Bids was advertised on January 29, 2018, on the City's online bid management <br />and publication system. A summary of the bid invitations and bids received is as follows: <br />17 Vendors notified <br />13 Vendors downloaded the bid packet <br />2 Bids received <br />1 Bid received from a Santa Ana vendor <br />22A-1 <br />
