PUC Sheet No. 48628-E <br />Schedule LS -1 Sheet 7 <br />LIGHTING - STREET AND HIGHWAY -UNMETERED SERVICE <br />COMPANY-OWNED SYSTEM <br />(Continued) <br />SPECIAL CONDITIONS (Continued) <br />2. Standard Installation: A standard installation includes an overhead multiple service installation <br />where SCE furnishes bracket or mast arm construction and standard luminaire attached to a <br />wood pole. <br />SCE is responsible for all installation costs associated with the initial street light installation, as (N) <br />well as ongoing maintenance and replacement service when SCE has determined that such <br />replacement is necessary. The installed cost of the Standard Installation is established by <br />Commission Decision in SCE's General Rate Case proceeding. All facilities installed shall <br />become and remain the sole property of SCE. (N) <br />3. Other Than Standard Installation: <br />a. Prior to January 1, 2014: (N) <br />(1) Installation and Payment Provision: Where the applicant requests the installation of (T) <br />an other than standard (OTS) Installation and the request is acceptable to SCE, SCE <br />will install the requested equipment provided the OTS street light, installation, design, <br />labor and material is in accordance with SCE's design and engineering <br />specifications, and the applicant agrees to advance the amount invoiced for the <br />installation, as described in 3.a.(2) below. For an underground service installation, <br />the, Applicant is responsible for furnishing and installing any necessary conduit, <br />structures, excavating, backfilling and restoration of the pavement in accordance <br />with SCE's specifications. SCE will retain ownership of the facilities, and will be <br />responsible for ongoing maintenance and replacement service when SCE has <br />determined that such replacement is necessary. Advances made for other than a <br />standard installation will not be refunded. (T) <br />(2) Wood Pole Allowance Provision: For OTS Installations where SCE installs the <br />(N) <br />requested equipment, as described in Special Condition 3.a(1) above, the applicant <br />is required to pay the estimated difference between the OTS installed costs and the <br />Wood Pole Allowance. This amount will be invoiced by SCE, and the customer must <br />satisfy both of the following conditions before January 1, 2014 for the provision of the <br />Wood Pole Allowance to apply: <br />(a) A complete street light design package must be submitted to SCE including <br />the SCE street light authorization form completed by the applicable public <br />authority, and; <br />I <br />(b) The SCE invoice for the proposed streetlight facilities must be paid in full. <br />(N) <br />(D) <br />(L) <br />(To be inserted by utility) <br />Advice 2872-E <br />Decision 13-03-031 <br />rens <br />Issued by <br />AkbarJazaveri <br />Vice President <br />55A-59 <br />(To be inserted by Cal.
