PUC Sheet No. 52413-E <br />Schedule LS -1 Sheet 8 <br />LIGHTING - STREET AND HIGHWAY -UNMETERED SERVICE <br />COMPANY-OWNED SYSTEM <br />(Continued) <br />SPECIAL CONDITIONS (Continued) <br />3. Other Than Standard Installation: (Continued) <br />b. Starting on January 1, 2014: <br />(1) Installation and Payment Provision: Effective January 1, 2014, where the applicant <br />requests an OTS Installation, and the request is acceptable to SCE, the requested <br />equipment will be installed pursuant to Installation Options (a) or (b), below: (T) <br />(a) Applicant -Installed: The applicant provides the OTS street light, installation, <br />labor and material (cable and related electrical facilities) of OTS by the <br />applicant's qualified contractor or sub -contractor in accordance with SCE's <br />design and engineering specifications, covers all costs associated with the <br />installation of the OTS street light facility (including furnishing and installing any <br />necessary conduit, structures, excavation, backfill and restoration of the <br />pavement in accordance with SCE's specifications), pays SCE for system <br />inspections and upon completion of facility installation and subsequent <br />acceptance by SCE, the applicant transfers and conveys ownership of all <br />installed structures and facilities to SCE. SCE will be responsible for ongoing <br />maintenance and replacement service when SCE has determined that such <br />replacement is necessary. <br />(b) SCE -Installed: The applicant requests SCE to provide the OTS street light <br />installation, design, labor and material in accordance with SCE's design and <br />engineering specifications, and the applicant agrees to advance the full cost of <br />the installation. For an underground service installation, the Applicant is <br />responsible for furnishing and installing any necessary conduit, structures, <br />excavation, backfill and restoration of the pavement in accordance with SCE's <br />specifications. SCE will retain ownership of the facilities, and will be <br />responsible of ongoing maintenance and replacement service when SCE has <br />determined that such replacement is necessary. Advances made for OTS <br />Installations will not be refunded. <br />(2) Wood Pole Allowance Provision: Effective January 1, 2014, SCE will discontinue <br />granting the Wood Pole Allowance to applicants under this Schedule. <br />4. Hours of Service: Under SCE's standard all night operating schedule approximately <br />4,140 hours of service per year will be furnished.
