I have been working with the Santa <br />Ana community for ten years and fell in love with this city so much that I moved here. I attended the 3/27 <br />meeting and represented my community, but we were outnumbered by the Irvine people. I left with such anger <br />and sadness at the same time. I could not believe that in 2018 we still have to live with so many injustices. We <br />have endured so much. Our children keep enduring this on a daily basis. Where was our apology from the <br />District Supervisors? They apologized for jeopardizing the city of Irvine and nothing had even happened to <br />their city. Our children deserve better. Our city deserves better. We have come a long way from Mendez, et al <br />v. Westminster, let us not move backwards. I will be present at tomorrow's meeting and would like to add my <br />input on this issue. <br />Abigail Aleman <br />
