This is a recipe for disease of plague type magnitude if we do not help find a solution. It is not Santa Ana's
problem alone! This is a burden all Orange County needs to shoulder together. Residents of Irvine need to step up and
stop being selfish. They are showing their true colors by subbing their noses at this problem. The homeless people did
not all come from one city, they came from cities like Irvine too, and looking for a community that has shelters and
programs available congregated in those cities along the riverbed. Many are drug addicts and crime is a big problem.
We all need to help find a solution, not push it onto less affluent neighborhoods. I would be embarrassed if I were from
Irvine displaying this elitist attitude. Judge Carter, please hear our complaints and help us.
aq)
