The project is funded with Federal Highway Bridge Programs (HBP) funds, <br />OCTA Measure M2 funds, and minimal local matching funds. <br />South Main Street Corridor Improvements <br />Plans are underway to implement the "South Main Vision Plan". The Plan calls for greater <br />walkability by implementing traffic calming mechanisms, enhanced crosswalks, pedestrian level <br />street lighting, street trees, landscaping, parklets, site furnishings and metered parking. Survey, <br />geotechnical studies, utility coordination, and traffic studies have been completed, and Design <br />Development plans are currently being reviewed.
