SA 15-005 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CASE NAME: OSORIO, BENITO <br />CLASSIFICATION: OFFICER INVOLVED SHOOTING (FATAL) <br />TYPE: VEHICLE PROCESSING <br />AGENCY: SANTA ANA POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />On March 18, 2015, at 0800 hours, I arrived at the Orange County Crime Lab’s (OCCL) <br />vehicle examination area, located at 320 North Flower Street, in the city of Santa Ana, to <br />supervise the processing of a white, Toyota, pick-up truck, California License 7X06303, vehicle <br />identification number (VIN) 5TEKU72N25Z117682, by the Orange County Crime Lab personnel. <br />Santa Ana Police Department (SAPD) Detective EDDIE NUNEZ was also present. <br />The following personnel from the Orange County Crime Lab (OCCL) completed the <br />processing of the vehicle: <br />• JENNIFER JARRETT Forensic Scientist Evidence collection <br />• AIDE SAHAGUN Lead Forensic Specialist Photography, sketch <br />• JEANNIE TRAN Lead Forensic Specialist Assist with evidence collection <br />At approximately 0810 hours, the processing began. I observed the following: <br />The vehicle appeared to be in good condition. All four doors, the tailgate and engine cover <br />were sealed with yellow Orange County Sheriff’s Department adhesive stickers that had been <br />put in place when the Toyota pick-up truck was transported to the OCCL; the adhesive stickers <br />appeared undisturbed. <br />ORANGE COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY’S OFFICE <br />BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION <br /> <br />SUPPLEMENTAL REPORT <br /> <br />Investigator: C.
