ORDINANCE NS-965 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 640 FILED BY FRANCIS E. GRISET <br />AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAPS 25-5-10 AND <br />36-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 640-B) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly <br />held a public hearing on Amend~en~ Application No. 640, filed by <br />Francis E. Griset proposing to reclassify from the A-1 District to <br />the R-i, R-4 and C-5 Districts the property hereinbelow described; <br />and said Commission, by its Resolution No. 5876 has recommended DENIAL <br />of said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 640-A; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on <br />said reclassification on published notice as required by law and <br />does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general <br />welfare require that said property be reclassified from the A-1 <br />District to the R-l, R-4 and CR Districts in accordance with Exhibit B <br />of Sectional District Maps 25-5-10 and 36-5-10, and that the use <br />under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surround- <br />ing property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION t: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of california, described as: <br /> <br />PARCEL 1: <br />Beginning at that point where the southerly right of way <br />line of the Pacific Electric Railroad intersects the <br />center line of Bristol Street; thence northeasterly, <br />following the said right of way line of Pacific Electric <br />Railroad for a distance of 537.7 feet, more or less; <br />thence southerly along a line approximately parallel <br />to the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of <br />1492 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a line <br />approximately parallel to the center line of Sunflower <br />Avenue for a distance of 166 feet, more or less; thence <br />northerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br />center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 557 feet, <br />more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately <br />parallel to the center line of Sunflower Avenue for a <br />distance of 332 feet, more or less, to the center line <br />of Bristol Street; thence northerly along the said center <br />line for a distance of 834 feet, more or less, to the <br />point of beginning. <br /> <br />PARCEL 2: <br />Beginning at that point where the southerly right of way <br />line of Pacific Electric Railroad intersects the center <br />line of Bristol Street; thence northeasterly, following <br />the said right of way line of Pacific Electric Railroad <br />for a distance of 537.7 feet, more or less, to the TRUE <br />POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing northeasterly <br />along said right of way line for a distance of 1678.7 <br />feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line approxi- <br />mately parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for <br />a distance of 3331.4 feet, more or less; thence westerly <br />along a line approximately parallel to the center line <br />of Sunflower Avenue for a distance of 520 feet, more or <br />less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel <br />to the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of <br />1511 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a line <br />approximately parallel to the center line of Sunflower <br />Avenue for a distance of 1040 feet, more or less; thence <br />northerly along a line approximately parallel to the <br />center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 935 feet, <br />more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
