<br />Meeting called to order by the Vice-Mayor.

<br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given.
<br />Invocation was given by Reverend Don Jordan of the First United
<br />Presbyterian Church.
<br />Each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes
<br />of August 18, 1958, reading of the Minutes was dispensed with and approved
<br />on motion of Counc~lma~ Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carried.

<br /> A tabulation of bids was presented for the blacktopping of walks and all purpose

<br />This being the date set for hearing on the vacation of a portion of North Birch
<br />Street lying between Sixth Street and Eighth Street and no protests having been
<br />received, on motion of Council~u Gould, seconded by Hall and carried, the hearing
<br />was closed. The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution,
<br />
<br />on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the following
<br />
<br />Resolution entitled:
